We are a family of four in Ottawa trying to reduce the amount of harmful chemicals in the home by experimenting with natural and homemade cosmetic and cleaning products. Every month we choose a different product or products and purchase 2 or 3 of each. At the end of the month we discuss and make a switch over to something natural. It’s a lot of fun, especially for me because I get to go shopping 🙂

We are going to try and purchase Canadian products when at all possible.

Since starting I have met some wonderful people online (Facebook and Twitter) as well as in the natural food stores around Ottawa.

I can be contacted at: lynwoodvillage@gmail.com

On Twitter I am: @OttawaMommyProj

And I love getting mail!

Until next time,

My name is Connie Jensen and I’m a Master of Journalism student at Carleton University. Two of my classmates and I are doing a TV story about the Ottawa Green Expo. I noticed you posted on Twitter that you plan on attending the event and I was wondering if you would be willing to do an interview about living green in Ottawa. This may appear on Centretown News Online.
If you are available Thursday around 11am that would be great.

We look forward to hearing from you and we can be reached by email or on my cell phone at 613-407-5880.

    Thank you,

Sounds good! I’ll have to check that one out next time I’m over at Shoppers!
I have indeed chosen my shampoos and they are en route from well.ca right now. I am hoping they’ll be here on Monday. I’ll post the list on the blog, with pictures, early in the week. I may stop into Kardish tomorrow and pick up Druide since well.ca doesn’t seem to carry it.

      Stay tuned! 🙂
